Chen Mingsong graduated from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University.

In 1993, he began clinical work in general surgery and burn plastic surgery at a hospital, and later specialized in plastic and aesthetic surgery.

In 2004, he carried out clinical plastic and aesthetic surgery at Changsha Hospital.

From 2008 to 2015, he served successively as Director and Technical President at large domestic plastic surgery hospitals.

Since January 2016, he has served as Chinese President of Changsha Yestar Medical Aesthetic Hospital.

 

He has long been committed to clinical and basic research in plastic surgery. In the treatment of complex rhinoplasty and revision, comprehensive facial aesthetic shaping, implant breast augmentation, and autologous fat transplantation, he has proposed multiple influential and novel methods.

In the field of complex rhinoplasty, he proposed a “nasal tip framework shaping” method and successfully applied it in “BSK Imperial Rhinoplasty”, effectively solving problems such as a short columella, a low and flat nasal tip, and distortion and unnatural results after rhinoplasty. The shaped nasal tip is natural and pretty, not deviated, not protruding, not artificial, and stable, and can be freely pinched and kneaded.

In the field of implant breast augmentation, he successfully applied the “curved-surface diffuse expansion technique” to breast augmentation, the “Optimal Arc Elastic Breast Augmentation Technique”, achieving a breakthrough in resolving chest wall soft tissue tension and making the medial border points of the bilateral breasts 2 cm closer than with conventional procedures. This enters the 2-cm vascular- and nerve-dense area that conventional breast augmentation procedures avoid, achieving optimal elastic standard curvature values for the breast of “upper π arc 80°, lower п arc 85°, and medial arc 45°”, giving the breast a high, full, natural, dynamic, and upright peak contour after surgery.
